Negative: The place was quite dirty: the blankets had a lot of hair (I am bald). what bothered me the most is that the owners automated all of the customer support with AI, but pretend they do not. The window blinds are half broken and cover the window partially, so at 6am you get LOTS of light in the apartment and can’t sleep anymore. There is also a very long set of rules that they want you to follow to minimize the effort they need: throw the trash, remove the bed linen, clean everything up… Why am I paying for cleaning? This apartment was made as a money machine and you can feel the complete lack of care and attention that was put into it.

Negative: Vi hade problem med TVn där bilden och ljudet laggade, chromecasten och andra appar fungerade inte som utlovat. Meddelade boendet vid flertalet tillfällen gällande detta men fick ingen vidare hjälp så ringde till slut men han kunde inte heller göra något åt det. Vi hade planerat att kolla på Eurovision men det fungerade inte, vilket förstörde våran upplevelse.

Gothenburg is a lovely city and we enjoyed our visit. Positive: Very comfortable, well equipped and good location. Negative: Normally we would have given this property a top rating but there was a serious issue with entry to the building (not the apartment). The entry code was changed without warning and the new code not provided until 12 hours later. The phone connection on the entry panel went to an automated answer in Swedish only. We do not speak Swedish. Fortunately, after waiting for 20 minutes in the cold evening air, another resident arrived who had the new code. For the rest of our time the electronic entry panel was malfunctioning, leaving us worried that we would be locked out. Even an excellent unit is unacceptable if you are not confident you can gain entry. No explanation was ever provided by the apartment block or Booking.com as to what was happening with the apartment entry and we find that quite unacceptable service.
